Past Webinar: "The impact of Covid-19 on the CEE economy"

June 17th, 2020 / 11:00 aM - 12:00 aM CET

Three months after the lockdown, the scale of the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the economies in most European countries is visible when looking at Q2 economic indicators. Despite massive cash injections by governments, the GDP of the Central and Eastern European economies will decrease by 5.8% in 2020 according to the Coface forecast. Some sectors such as automotive, retail, textile, and transport suffer more than others. However, a few weeks after the first easing of the restrictions, most European economies seem to slowly recover.

In his webinar, our economist, Grzegorz Sielewicz, will consider the impact of the epidemic on global economic growth and the situation of your trading partners.
